| Update on everything...
I'm finally getting used to life at UNC... and I made friends that I actually want to hang out with outside of class. October seems to be the month of exams... 2 every week, except for fall break, then 2 to 3 hw assignments due every week as well. Joy. Classes here are so much harder, I spend so much more time studying... I think it's about 15 to 20 hrs a week now... and I had a long discussion today with my friend n he told me about how professors here do not just give out A's... if the university sees too many A's in a class, the professor gets a talking to... that's absolutely ridiculous. At State, an A+ was a 4.3, but here, an A/A+ is just a 4. I'm glad I took advantage of those 4.3s at State whenever I still had a chance, getting an A last year was so much easier than trying to get an A now... >_<
B school applications officially went online yesterday at 10am. I have yet to look at it though, nor have I even started on my resume, sigh, too much work to be done... and it's only for an undergraduate program -__- anyways................ wish me luck :D
I still don't have a roomie... it isn't too bad usually, but sometimes it does get lonely living by myself. It makes me want to live on campus instead, sigh. Oh well, if anyone ever comes to Chapel Hill or to visit me =D (Meg, BT, Will, Freeman, etc :]), give me a call, you can stay with me.
I'm excited about next Friday, it's University Day here, the university's birthday, so we don't have class from 10-1pm, and since I only have a class before that at 8am, I don't think I'll be going to classes at all that day. I'm so excited, bc Nikhil n I planned to go to the fair that night, and since it'll be fall break for NCSU, hopefully there won't be as many people there compared to other weekends. Speaking of Nikhil... we celebrated our 6th month and his birthday in the same weekend and then the weekend after as well. It was really nice :) and I'm really proud of myself for staying in a relationship for so long. I guess I just had to find the right person before I could settle down in a long relationship, hehe. Anyways... I'm in love, 'tis a great feeling and I never want to let it go.
Still working at Bath n Body Works... I enjoy it soo much!

| Job orientation at Bath n Body Works on Thursday... yay for discounts to BnBW, VS, Express, and Limited! I'm so excited.
I had a really good weekend... Greensboro, Ben's 21st, then time with the family. School's a little stressful as the work starts to pick up and now I'm adding on a job, woot.
I <3 Japanese class, I'm so glad that I switched out of French. Hehe, we learned how to ask someone for their phone number today... ;)

| I did a lot of thinking last week... about what I wanted to do later on in life, and after thinking about it all, I decided that French isn't really much help for me. I took it in high school for the fun of it, and I had a blast with it last year bc of my professors, but my professor this semester didn't look as outgoing, and I just wasn't interested anymore. So, on Friday, I went from being enrolled in a level 4 French class to being enrolled in a level 1 Japanese class.
After all my thinking, I decided to double major in Business Administration and Asian Studies with a Japanese concentration. That way, when I get my degree, I can work in either China or Japan and I'll be trilingual and know a little bit of French, exciting! Does knowing 3 different dialects of Chinese count as knowing 3 different languages? I mean, they're different enough to where someone who knows Mandarin cannot understand Cantonese and vise versa. Anyways... back to my schpill, right now, my main priority is getting that 4.0 or anything close to it in my 17 hrs... whew. I have to apply to the Business School soon.... and I hear it's super competitive and really hard to get into it. It sucks that UNC doesn't have that 4.3 policy, that was great. An A+ at UNC is a 4.0... and so is an A.
So... that's kinda boring. I'm still living by myself, come be my roommate! My friend and I are waiting to hear back from the administration from where he's staying, bc he wants to break the lease witth them after this semester and then move in with me. Living in a (town)house by myself can get really lonely sometimes... it's ok sometimes, but I'd rather have a roommate I can talk to when I get home.
Anyways... hope everything's going well for you college students... and you high schoolers (that's you, BT) and have a good week :)

| So classes have finally started...
my week of paradise sped by, and classes started on Tuesday. My Tuesdays n Thursdays are great. I get to sleep in, and then I only have one class at 3:30. All the other days are nightmares though, 4 classes starting at 8 on Mondays and Wednesdays and even a recitation on Wednesday night, and then 3 classes on Fridays. I have to take a bunch of business prereqs this year... there's like 5 or 6 of em, so they've dominated my schedule.
2 job interviews tomorrow... and then driving home for the weekend. I have so much homework, lots of reading, and lots of work, but... that's college for ya.
Anyways... school's been fine so far. It's a lil harder getting used to Carolina, I constantly find myself thinking back to how life would be if I was at State. It just seems like I gave up so much just so I can come here. Hopefully, it will all be worth it by me getting into the business school. So many people apply, it's like a 50-50 chance of getting in. Anyways, I like being over here bc I'm so much close to my little cousins, and they are so cute and adorable :) they always make me laugh, they're the cutest ever.
Sooooo... hope school started fine for you guys! And BT... enjoy being a senior :) and good luck with all your APs!

feels weird to be away from home... and it's kinda scary living by myself right now, but I'm sure I'll get used to it and it'll be better once I get a roommate =)
One week until school starts... and I feel like I have so much to do >_<
